Tony Hsieh is best known for being the CEO of the online shoes-seller Zappos, Inc. Zappos has, for many years, been ranked as one of the top places to work in America. It is also loved by American shoe-buyers for its top-notched customer service quality.
Tony helped Zappos grow from having no sales in 1999 to a multi-billion-dollar company today. In 2009, Amazon acquired Zappos in a deal being valued at $1.2 billion dollars.
Tony’s book Delivering Happiness, published in 2010, details his path from a kid starting a worm farm to a CEO reviving a failing startup to the e-commerce giant that is Zappos today. As Zappos's leader, Tony shows how a very different kind of corporate culture is a powerful model for achieving success and happiness.
