Hello! Thank you for visiting BooksLegit.com, we hope you've found it useful. We are a bunch of ex-Amazon folks across different disciplines (Engineering, Product, UX and Finance) trying to put together the reading lists that have helped us grow over the years. These are the books we have been recommending to close friends, and now we want to share them with the world.
What we do
BooksLegit.com is here to help you find the books you need. We've organized them into topics and lists, and we will tell you why each book is worth your time. Reading the right books can be a killer way to build up your skills. Instead of going through half-baked blog posts and online tutorials, why not invest time and effort in learning properly from the best books in your field of interest?
How we do it
Serving our core audience: We curate books for the modern hackers, builders and creators. We have made sure to cover all key areas of product development: product, design, engineering, project management, marketing, data science, etc. Having a broad understanding of how each discipline works can lead to excellent product ideas and promote outside-the-box thinking for you and your team.
Insisting on the highest standard: We intentionally keep the number of books on the site small, for good reasons. First, we think that serious learners should take a lot of time to digest ideas and concepts from a book. While reading really fast might win you street creds, you will not have enough time to remember and understand what you've read. At the end of the day, what really matters is how well you can applied what you've read, not how many books you've ploughed through per month. Additionally, there are only so many "legit" books out there. It would be a lie if we were to repost the entire Amazon.com's book inventory and tell you all of them are good.
